Nextdoor: Facebook for neighbors
Nextdoor is designed to help neighbors connect and communicate online about important information, services, and goings-on in their specific communities. Its like facebook for communities. I feel this is a great idea. Neighbors never really talk or communicate anymore, but I think it is nice to know the kind of people I live by and interact with them.

Blackberry Outage
An October 10 failure at a data center caused outages in Europe and elsewhere. The outage spread over the next few days to Europe, the Middle East, India, Africa, Latin America and North America. Full service was restored on Thursday, according to the company. The company is offering apps, not cash, as payback for the inconvenience that customers endured. These apps include:
* SIMS 3
* Bejeweled
* N.O.V.A.
* Texas Hold'em Poker 2
* Bubble Bash 2
* Photo Editor Ultimate - Ice Cold Apps
* DriveSafe.ly Pro
* Drive Safe.ly Enterprise
* Nobex Radio™ Premium
* Shazam Encore
* Vlingo Plus: Virtual Assistant
More are supposedly being added for free later. I believe blackberry should just give people the money they owe them. What if the people are not interested in any of these apps. Then they are out of luck and that is not fair to those people. The people that do want these apps can just use the money they receive to buy them. Blackberry should be doing better than this.

Downloadable Comics
At the New York Comic Con this week, Archie Comics will reveal its next step in the digital frontier. In spring, the company will bring back its line of superhero characters in a subscription model that will offer an original six-page story and access to an archive of past adventures.
For people who love comics this great! You can now download any one you want and stay tuned into all the new comics they come out with. Some of the comics are free, which is AWESOME, and some cost, but hopefully not too much!
