Cyber Bullies

So some people seem to think it is OK to bully people online. Some think that because it is not face to face it is completely fine. Well, it is not OK or fine. People who get off by being mean to others are just very insecure of themselves. That is their only way to make themselves feel better. In a recent poll from CNN, more than 50% of students say they have been bullied online. I do not see the point in putting others down. It is mean and very hurtful. And these people who do it anonymously are more cowardly than a bully with a name. If you can not say what your thinking or what your opinion is without being OK with your name attached to it, then you obviously should not be saying it. Why would anyone in their right mind want to make someone feel bad about themselves or not want to go to school or be seen or maybe make them feel bad enough to not want to be in the world anymore? There is something seriously wrong with people who think it is OK to treat someone like they are not human like them, or treat them like they are under them.

Should cops be able to go through an arrested person's phone?

In California a law may be passed to keep police officers from going through anyone's phone that they arrest. They will have to obtain a warrent to look through the phone. I think this is a good law because what is in my phone is none of an officer's business. If they can get a warrent to search my phone then I prolly have things on there i shouldn't anyway so then I would deserve it.

Bad or Good Facebook move?

Facebook will automatically group your friends based on whether they live near you, went to your school or work with you. You can read posts or share updates with specific groups instead of dozens, or hundreds, of "friends" at a time. Facebook will use the colleges, workplaces and geographic locations that users share on the site to organize people into groups. Called "smart lists," the feature is optional to use, and the lists are customizable.
I do not like this idea. I feel if you do not want certain people seeing something you did then u probably should not be doing it. or you should just start caring less about what those people think about you. Its sounds like it may be a pain to see verybodys posts and updates at one time this way and it will be very annoying having to change how easy facebook is to you.

MacBook Air as a knife!?

Apple's ultra-lightweight laptop computer has become the star of a few bizarre online cooking videos in recent years, with the latest showing the pointed edge of the contoured laptop being used to hack up carrots, apples, baby corn, mushrooms and even shrimp.
So who would ever want to try to hold a lap top and chop something up? I do not think this sounds very safe. Plus it has to be awkward manuvering it that way. If the MacBook is that sharp then count me out on getting one.

Google fired their chief executive

Good or bad move? I am not sure. They say at first she was met with high hopes and people liked her, now that they have had her in office they say she has not helped Yahoo one bit. the sales after people found out they hired her went up. So in my oipinion people just may not have made the right chioce to begin with when hiring her.
